Rich is a TN licensed RN with 30 years experience – Wilderness, Tactical, Trauma and Standard Medical, Carbine/Shotgun/Handgun instructor. He received his Bachelor’s of Science from Michigan State Univ. (1991) & his Master’s of Science from San Diego State Univ. with dual certifications as an Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (2003).

A decorated veteran, he served as a U.S. Navy Nurse Corps Officer for 25 years, retiring in 2017 as a Commander (O-5).
